Partnership will provide hundreds of meals per month for teen and young adult clients struggling with eating disorders in Charlotte
CHARLOTTE, N.C. Sept. 16, 2025 – Your Farms Your Table, a farm-to-table dining and experiences group offering catering and curated events, community-supported meals, and personal chef services, is expanding its partnership with HopeWay, a leading nonprofit mental health treatment organization in Charlotte.
Since Feb. 1, Your Farms Your Table has managed HopeWay’s in-house kitchen at their adult campus, serving hundreds of chef-driven, locally sourced meals per week to clients in the residential and day programs, as well as staff and guests. Building on this success, the partnership will now provide 44 fresh meals per day, five days a week, to approximately 24 clients enrolled in HopeWay’s Teen and Young Adult Eating Disorder Programs. The greatly anticipated expansion supports these clients by providing nutritious breakfasts and lunches, carefully tailored to their unique recovery needs.
“Food is more than just fuel — it’s a source of comfort, connection and healing,” said Chef Sam Diminich, founder and executive chef of Your Farms Your Table. “Through this expanded partnership, we’re able to serve not only fresh, nourishing meals, but also the message that every client’s health and dignity matter. It’s an honor to work alongside HopeWay to support individuals on their journey toward recovery, one thoughtfully prepared plate at a time.”

HopeWay
“HopeWay is thrilled to expand our partnership with Your Farms Your Table from our Adult Programs into our Teen and Young Adult Eating Disorder Programs,” said Alyson R. Kuroski-Mazzei, DO, DFAPA, FASAM, CEO & Chief Medical Officer at HopeWay. “Access to nourishing and thoughtfully prepared meals is a vital part of recovery. This is another step forward in our shared commitment to whole-person healing, and our belief that food can be a powerful form of medicine.”
Data from the National Comorbidity Survey Adolescent Supplement (NCS-A) show that 2.7% of U.S. adolescents ages 13 to 18 experience an eating disorder in their lifetime. HopeWay’s Eating Disorder Program treats teens and young adults facing a range of challenges, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge eating disorder. It offers an array of evidence-based therapies, including traditional talk therapy, family therapy and integrative therapies. Recognizing that each client will resonate with different aspects of the program, it is essential to provide a comprehensive and well-rounded approach to treatment. This new meal initiative directly addresses the need for consistent access to balanced, thoughtfully prepared meals during a critical phase of eating disorder treatment.
“Nutrient-rich meals play an essential role in eating disorder recovery,” shares Greer Mitchell, MD, JD, Director of HopeWay’s Center for Eating Disorders. “Our collaboration with Your Farms Your Table ensures that our clients receive the nourishment they need in a way that supports both their physical health and their therapeutic goals.”
The expansion comes ahead of HopeWay’s Annual George C. Covington Education Event on Oct. 16. This year’s theme is Food as Medicine, and Dr. Kuroski-Mazzei, along with Chef Sam and other leading experts in nutrition and mental health, will discuss how food nourishes not just our bodies, but our minds and mental health. Tickets are $35 each and are available to anyone in the community. Visit https://hopeway.org/event/covington-2025-food-as-medicine to learn more.
