New location brings experienced cosmetic surgeons and personalized aesthetic care to the Fort Mill community; grand opening event, offers, and raffle celebrate the launch
FORT MILL, S.C. — Oct. 23, 2026 — HKB, a leader in aesthetic medicine, today announced the opening of its newest location in Fort Mill, South Carolina. Co-founded by Bill G. Kortesis, MD, FACS, and Gaurav Bharti, MD, FACS, HKB continues to expand throughout the Southeast, bringing personalized, evidence-based cosmetic surgery and exceptional aesthetic care to more communities.
HKB Fort Mill will deliver the same personalized, patient-centered care that defines the practice, taking time to understand each patient’s goals and guide them through every stage of their aesthetic journey. The new location marks another milestone in HKB’s growth across the Carolinas and advances its vision of building a physician-led aesthetic platform rooted in outstanding surgical talent, cutting-edge technology and innovative techniques. In a state-of-the-art environment, the team combines surgical expertise with an artistic approach to help patients look and feel their best.

The surgical team at the Fort Mill location includes Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon Shawna Kleban, MD, FACS, and Plastic Surgeon Jason D’John, DO. Together, they will provide patients with access to experienced surgical care and personalized guidance from first consultation through recovery.
Dr. Kleban joined HKB in 2021 after completing the practice’s aesthetic surgery fellowship, specializing in aesthetic treatments of the face, breast, and body. As the only female cosmetic surgeon on HKB’s Charlotte-area team, she offers a care option for patients preferring to work with a woman surgeon. She will see patients at the Fort Mill location one day a week for consultations and follow-up appointments.
Dr. D’John specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, with his training spanning general surgery, cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, and aesthetic surgery, providing a foundation for evaluating each patient’s needs and developing an appropriate treatment plan. He completed his cosmetic and reconstructive surgery residency at Corewell Health Beaumont and an aesthetic surgery fellowship at HKB.
The Med Spa team consists of Certified Aesthetic Nurse Injector Traci DiRenzo, RN, CANS and Medical Esthetician Jan Sizemore, BSN, RN. Treatments at this location will include chemical peels, dermal filler, laser resurfacing, microneedling, dermaplaning, HydraFacial treatments, CO2 laser, and more.
“Successful aesthetic treatments start with understanding what matters most to each patient,” said Dr. Bharti. “Our approach is to listen carefully, discuss realistic outcomes, and develop a plan that reflects the patient’s goals while prioritizing safety and quality of care.
